Autoimmune & Immunological Testing

Apollo Adlux Hospital's Department of Rheumatology & Clinical Immunology provides specialised immunology and laboratory services to support the diagnosis and evaluation of autoimmune and rheumatic diseases. The department performs ELISA and Indirect Immunofluorescence assays for important autoimmune markers including ANA and ANCA. These investigations form an important part of the diagnostic evaluation of systemic autoimmune and inflammatory conditions.

Immunoblot assays are also available for detailed assessment through ANA profiles and myositis profiles. Antiphospholipid antibody detection supports evaluation of patients in whom antiphospholipid syndrome or related autoimmune conditions may be suspected. Latex agglutination techniques are included among the department's documented immunology laboratory skills.

Laboratory findings are interpreted alongside the patient's symptoms, clinical examination, medical history and other investigations. Autoimmune testing requires careful clinical correlation because individual antibody results may need to be considered within the broader diagnostic picture.

Apollo Adlux's clinical immunology services support evaluation of conditions including lupus, vasculitis, myositis, Sjögren's syndrome and other systemic autoimmune diseases mentioned in the department's clinical scope. ANA and ANCA testing, immunoblot assays and antiphospholipid antibody detection can provide valuable information during diagnostic evaluation and disease assessment.

The department combines rheumatology expertise with specialised immunological testing to provide an integrated approach to patients with suspected or established autoimmune and inflammatory disorders.
