COPD & Chronic Airway Disease Management

Our pulmonologists provide long-term management for Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), bronchiectasis and other chronic airway disorders. Treatment is individualised according to symptoms, lung function, frequency of exacerbations and associated medical conditions.

Care may include inhaled medications, nebulisation therapy, pulmonary function monitoring, breathing and sputum-clearance techniques, smoking cessation, vaccination advice, oxygen assessment and non-invasive ventilation for selected patients. Patients with acute worsening, severe infection or respiratory failure can be admitted for specialised inpatient respiratory care.
