Detailed Anomaly Scan & Advanced Fetal Imaging

Level II Anomaly Scan, 3D/4D Scan and Genetic Sonogram in Kochi

Detailed fetal imaging helps evaluate the baby's anatomy and development during pregnancy. Advanced ultrasound studies are used to assess the brain, face, spine, chest, heart, abdomen, limbs and other fetal structures.

Early Second Trimester Anomaly Screening

An early anomaly assessment may be performed in selected pregnancies to evaluate fetal anatomy before the routine detailed anomaly scan. This can be particularly useful in pregnancies with increased fetal risk or previous abnormal screening results.

Detailed Level II Anomaly Scan

A Level II anomaly scan is a detailed ultrasound examination used to assess fetal anatomy and identify structural abnormalities. The scan evaluates multiple organ systems and may also assess the placenta, amniotic fluid, cervix and other pregnancy-related structures.

3D & 4D Ultrasound

3D ultrasound produces three-dimensional images of fetal structures, while 4D imaging provides real-time moving images. These techniques can supplement conventional ultrasound in selected cases where additional anatomical visualisation is clinically helpful.

Genetic Sonogram

A genetic sonogram is a detailed ultrasound assessment used to look for structural findings or ultrasound markers that may be associated with chromosomal or genetic conditions. Results are interpreted together with maternal age, previous screening and other relevant clinical information.
