Fetal anaemia can occur due to blood group incompatibility, infections or other medical conditions. Severe anaemia may affect fetal wellbeing and can require specialised monitoring and treatment during pregnancy.

Fetal Anaemia Assessment

Doppler ultrasound can be used to assess blood flow patterns that may indicate fetal anaemia. When significant anaemia is suspected, further assessment may be required.

Intrauterine Transfusion
