Interstitial Lung Disease & Pulmonary Fibrosis

Interstitial Lung Diseases (ILDs) comprise a group of conditions that cause inflammation and/or scarring of lung tissue and may result in progressive breathlessness, persistent dry cough and reduced oxygen transfer.

Our pulmonology team provides detailed clinical assessment supported by pulmonary function testing including diffusion capacity, six-minute walk testing and appropriate imaging. Treatment and follow-up depend on the type and severity of ILD and may include medication, oxygen therapy, rehabilitation advice and multidisciplinary evaluation.
