Lobectomy (Open & VATS)

Surgical Removal of a Lung Lobe

Lobectomy is performed to remove one lobe of the lung affected by cancer, infections or other lung diseases while preserving healthy lung tissue.

Depending on the patient's condition, surgery may be performed through a traditional open incision or using minimally invasive Video-Assisted Thoracoscopic Surgery (VATS), which offers faster recovery and smaller incisions.
