Neurodiagnostic Services

Accurate diagnosis is essential for selecting the right treatment for neurological symptoms. Apollo Adlux Hospital provides a range of neurodiagnostic services to assess brain activity, peripheral nerve function, muscle function, autonomic responses and blood flow through the arteries supplying the brain. Available investigations include electroencephalogram, prolonged video EEG monitoring, electromyography, nerve-conduction assessment, carotid Doppler, autonomic function tests and SUDOSCAN evaluation.

EEG and video EEG help assess seizures, epilepsy and unexplained episodes of altered awareness. EMG and nerve studies are used to evaluate neuropathy, muscle disease, nerve compression and neuromuscular disorders. Carotid Doppler examines blood flow through the carotid arteries and may be recommended as part of stroke-risk evaluation. Autonomic function tests assess involuntary nervous-system functions, while SUDOSCAN may support the evaluation of selected peripheral and autonomic neuropathies. Test results are interpreted by specialists alongside the patient’s clinical history, examination and imaging findings.
