Neuromuscular Disorders

Neuromuscular disorders affect the muscles, peripheral nerves, motor neurons or neuromuscular junction. Children may present with delayed walking, muscle weakness, frequent falls, difficulty climbing stairs, poor head control, reduced stamina, swallowing difficulty or breathing problems.
