Prostate Diseases

Apollo Adlux Hospital offers comprehensive evaluation and management of prostate diseases, including Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH), urinary obstruction and prostate cancer. Men experiencing difficulty urinating, poor urine flow, frequent urination, incomplete bladder emptying or elevated PSA levels can undergo specialist assessment at the Centre of Excellence in Urology & Nephrology.

Treatment is individualised according to the patient's symptoms, prostate size, age and underlying diagnosis. TURP (Transurethral Resection of the Prostate) is available for appropriate patients with enlarged prostate, while HoLEP (Holmium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate) offers an advanced laser-based option with reduced bleeding in suitable cases. Patients with prostate cancer may undergo robotic radical prostatectomy, while early or suspected disease can be evaluated through prostate biopsy, PSA monitoring and structured surveillance programmes. Medical management is also available for patients with Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia who may not require immediate surgery.

  • TURP (Transurethral Resection of the Prostate) — gold-standard surgery for BPH
  • HoLEP (Holmium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate) — laser ablation with minimal bleeding
  • Robotic radical prostatectomy for prostate cancer
  • Medical management of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH)
  • Prostate biopsy, PSA monitoring, and surveillance programmes
