Stricture Urethra Reconstruction

Urethral stricture is a narrowing of the urethra that can cause weak urinary flow, straining, incomplete bladder emptying, recurrent urinary infections and difficulty passing urine. At Apollo Adlux Hospital, patients with complex or recurrent urethral strictures receive specialised evaluation and reconstructive urology care.

Depending on the location, length and severity of the narrowing, treatment may include urethroplasty, anastomotic urethroplasty or urethral stent placement. Reconstructive procedures aim to restore urinary flow and provide durable relief from obstruction while preserving urinary function. Detailed imaging and endoscopic evaluation may be used to determine the most appropriate treatment approach.
