Dr. Kartik Kulshrestha brings more than 10 years of surgical experience, including dedicated fellowship training in liver transplantation with a special  focus on liver and HPB (hepato-pancreato-biliary) conditions. He completed his MBBS and MS at the well-regarded Government Medical College, Trivandrum, followed by a Super Specialty DNB in Surgical Gastroenterology. Before moving into full-time clinical practice, he spent time in academic roles, as faculty at Government Medical College, Trivandrum, and as an assistant professor at Sree Narayana Institute of Medical Sciences (SNIMS), Kochi, experience that has shaped a teaching-oriented, detail-focused approach to patient care.

His combined background in liver transplant fellowship training and academic surgery makes him a strong choice for patients with liver, pancreatic, or bile duct conditions who want a surgeon comfortable handling both routine and complex HPB cases, as well as those who appreciate a thorough, explanation-led consultation style. Dr. Kartik has presented research at multiple national and international conferences and has been recognised for best paper presentations, including at the IASG and JIPMER national conferences.
