Dr. Tharun Krishna is one of Kerala's most experienced and internationally trained neurosurgeons, with over 23 years of distinguished practice in neurosurgery. His remarkable academic journey from T.D. Medical College, Alappuzha (MBBS) to Government Medical College, Trivandrum (D.Ortho and MS in General Surgery), and ultimately his M.Ch in Neurosurgery from Government Medical College, Calicut, laid the foundation for a career of surgical excellence.
Dr. Tharun Krishna has held prestigious academic and clinical positions at some of the world's most respected institutions, including the Faculty of Health Sciences, University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa; Medanta Medicity Hospital at Gurgaon, Delhi NCR; and as Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery at Government Medical Colleges in Kottayam and Calicut. He is an IFAANS (International Fellow of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons), a distinction that marks him as a globally recognized neurosurgeon.
Dr. Tharun Krishna is internationally trained in some of the most complex and advanced neurosurgical subspecialties. He completed a Fellowship in Functional Neurosurgery (including Deep Brain Stimulation for Parkinson's disease and Spinal Cord Stimulators) in Taipei City, Taiwan; a Fellowship in Skull Base Surgery (Endoscopic Skull Base and Pituitary Surgery) in New York, USA; and Advanced Spine Surgery training in Hamburg, Germany. He has also trained in Autologous Stem Cell Therapies.
