The Hand Surgery & Microsurgery programme provides specialised management for conditions affecting the hand, wrist, tendons and peripheral nerves. Common nerve and tendon-related conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger finger, De Quervain's tenosynovitis and Dupuytren's contracture may be treated surgically when symptoms persist despite appropriate conservative treatment.

The programme also provides peripheral nerve decompression, tendon repair and tendon transfer surgery for selected traumatic and reconstructive conditions. Patients with hand and wrist fractures may receive operative or non-operative care depending on the injury.
